A new human rights blog seeing the light

For all of those who've wondered where I went and where my swedish blog went so suddenly, I can now tell you that the rumors of my leaving you are greatly overstated.

This is a new project. A new blog written mainly in english since there are so many friends out there that have not been included in my work for a while. A new beginning.

I've been planning for an international blog on human rights for a while now. Problem was that I've had too much to do, basically, so it took me a while to find the time. After going my separate ways with my older projects and giving my ambitions with the swedish political system a rest, I am now taking on a new role as solo writer and debater. This here is one of the places where I expect that magic to happen.

I've got a few new projects going and I'm looking forward to seeing them take wings.

As this is also Valentines Day, I would like you people to please give me a few moments while dedicating this blog to my late father Rolf who passed away just four days ago, and to my mother Marja who is now alone. I'd also like to dedicate this blog to my brother Rudolph who cannot be here with us right now since he is living in Ethiopia and to my sisters Guenet and Lilly who have been extremely supportive to my mother and me during these days of grief. And of course to my husband to be, Jens, who is always there for me no matter what.

After spending some years as a human rights activist, I feel that it is now time to broaden my horizons and to open up to the rest of the World. I'm hoping that at least some of my swedish followers will be able to find their way and that they will not be too put off by my swapping languages. You might get used to it after a while. For my english speaking friends, please be patient. Even though I've been spending a lot of time abroad, I am still from Sweden and so my english will prove less than perfect at times. I do hope that we will be able to cross those language barriers, though.

Oh. And for those of you who don't know me that well just yet... I guess I will try and give you some sort of presentation sooner or later so that you've at least got som kind of clue as to who I am, what I'm up to and why you should even bother with following me down to the deep end with this little project.

Best wishes to all of you!
